Outdoor Movie Projector Screen

Build your own outdoor movie theater screen. These 8x10 or 10x20 white movie screens are ideal for showing movies and slide shows outdoors. Kits include fittings, optional 8x10 or 10X20 white tarp, and ball ties for constructing your own outdoor theater screen. Tubing is not included due to high shipping costs but can be purchased at either home building centers or electrical suppliers. (EMT is electrical conduit). Individual fittings and tarps can be purchased if you wish to build a custom size movie theater screen.

We took the design shown in the book "Home Theaters for Dummies" and have created our own tubing cut list and assembly diagram. This document contains a complete list of tubing cut sizes a color coded assembly diagram. It also shows the location of all the fittings with 16 assembly photographs.

8X10 Foot Screen Assembly Diagram

If you are looking for a smaller version of the of our outdoor movie screen this 8X10 foot screen is ideal. This design is easy to modify to a 6X10 or 7X10 screen by changing the length of the front tube and tarp. All the fittings for this design can be found at the bottom of the page.
